Matera Coffee Table is made of beautiful and natural sandstone. Sandstone is a sedimentary rock composed of particles deposed in layers from the earth’s surface with help from air, ice, or water. Through this process, the grains acquire different structures and properties depending on the condition, the stone, and the weathering process. The natural variation in the material also depends on the mineral content of the original sand. The organic process in which the material is created contributes to the sandstone's unique structure and bears witness to the history of the rock.
