Bibi Khanym Mosque Minaret (Samarkand)
Location: Samarkand, near Registan Square, on the northern side of the Bibi Khanym Mosque complex.
Period: Built at the end of the 14th century during the reign of Amir Timur (Tamerlane).
Purpose: Served as a tall minaret for calling the adhan and as an architectural part of the grand mosque complex.
