Fiona McDonald Makes is a bespoke service offering a range of furniture made in the UK, together with lighting and mirrors handcrafted in Italy.

We produce made-to-order pieces using the very best of materials and methods. Thanks to our uncompromising approach to quality, style and attention to detail the result is a high end product that is uniquely crafted to your own specifications.

Inspired by midcentury design and working with a small team of skilled craftsmen and women, Fiona McDonald Makes serves designers of both commercial and residential projects. With flexibility over measurements and finish, we offer the ability to customise an item to create a unique piece.

“For us, bespoke means that every piece is entirely handmade to order. We work with highly trained and experienced craftsmen and women. Each element of the design can be customised to create a unique piece. "We pay meticulous attention to detail at every stage of our service and pride ourselves on making the process simple and clear. Whether you’d like an oversized brass framed mirror or a chest of drawers to house a TV for example, we’ll work on the design with you, providing CAD drawings and samples of finishes for approval. The end result is something that will be cherished and appreciated for years.”

The Cosmo Sideboard, Dresser, Chest of Drawers or Commode is inspired by 1950s Italian design, handmade in England.

Shown here in French polished mahogany with Antique Brass handles and sabots.
