The rod is made of brushed steel. It has been materialized using GGX BRDF and Anisotropy. If you are still using earlier versions of VRay (VRay 3.1 or earlier), set BDRF on Ward and use a noise map with one of tilings set to higher number as a bump map to simulate anisotropy.
