Restoration Hardware Rug

Floral scrolls from a French Aubusson carpet trace Flore with tendrils of lustrous color, the motifs scaled up to nearly abstract proportions. Depending on the viewing angle, the viscose can take on a lively shimmer or seem to vanish into the marled, matte wool.

Our hand-knotted Traditional rugs celebrate the authentic character of antique carpets, reenvisioned from a modern point of view. The sketched motifs are updated on a relaxed, open scale, whether in a polished silk or in a low-pile distressed wool rug. These versatile rugs evoke the patina and textural transitions imparted by generations of use.
