This impressive armchair is a powerful expression of French craftsmanship from the 1930s. Built from solid oak, it has a remarkable weight and presence. The proportions are generous and confident, with a grounded stance that reflects the architectural sensibility of the period. The softly curved armrests flow seamlessly into the sturdy vertical supports, balancing strength with elegance. The oak frame shows a warm, rich patina, highlighting the natural grain of the wood and the quality of its construction. Upholstered in a muted, natural-toned fabric, the chair offers a restrained contrast that allows the sculptural woodwork to take center stage.
