Add Group and Ungroup directly to your 3ds Max toolbar for quick access.
Group opens the standard group-name dialog. Ungroup removes one group level while preserving nested groups.
Features:
• Two separate toolbar actions with distinct icons
• Custom keyboard shortcut support
• Native 3ds Max grouping behavior and Undo/Redo
• Safe handling of empty or invalid selections
• Drag-and-drop MZP installer with Install and Uninstall options
• No additional settings window or online activation
Installation:
Drag the MZP file into a 3ds Max viewport and click Install. Open Customize User Interface → Toolbars → Parama Tools, then drag Group and Ungroup onto your toolbar.
Target compatibility: 3ds Max 2020–2027+ on Windows.
Tested in 3ds Max 2025.3. Other versions are expected to work based on API compatibility, but have not been runtime-tested.
