While Hopper succeeds in comfortably seating four, six, eight, ten, or even more people, this purpose-designed sunshade provides lots of refreshing shade.‎ Designing a sunshade for a long table is one of the most daunting challenges facing any designer.‎ By creating Hopper Shade Dirk Wynants took up the gauntlet and won the challenge.‎ Both opened and closed, Hopper Shade perfectly follows the lines of the Hopper table, creating of course a very aesthetically pleasing effect.‎ But there is more to it than aesthetics.‎ If you are familiar with the Extremis philosophy, you know that innovation is at the heart of each new design.‎ This sunshade has not only been created to meet the above expectations, it also opens and closes effortlessly, does not take up extra space next to the table, and offers great wind resistance thanks to its flat surface.‎
