LiveDim - Live Dimensions for 3ds Max

See sizes and dimensions the moment you draw, just like in CAD software.
Works with the normal 3ds Max create commands - no special drawing tool needed.

WHAT IT DOES
- Dimension lines appear while you create Line, Rectangle, Circle, Box and more
- The same dimensions show up when you select any object
- Length (L) on top, width (W) on the side, height (H) only for 3D objects
- Radius and diameter for circles, donuts and spheres
- Area, perimeter and volume with the formula shown next to the result
- Works with your scene units (mm, cm, m ...)
- One-click toolbar button (ON/OFF) and a settings window

SUPPORTED OBJECTS
Line / Spline, Rectangle, Circle, Ellipse, NGon, Star, Donut, Plane,
Box, Sphere, GeoSphere, Cylinder, Cone, Tube, Torus, Pyramid.
Other objects show their bounding-box dimensions (L, W, H).

INSTALL
1. Run the script from Scripting > Run Script
2. Customize > Customize User Interface > Toolbars > category "HEbram Tools"
3. Drag "LiveDim" onto any toolbar

REQUIREMENTS
3ds Max [tested versions: e.g. 2021 - 2027]. No plugins needed.

NOTES
- Formulas are calculated for primitives with default parameters
(no slice / hemisphere). Objects with modifiers show L, W, H only.
- Curved line segments show the straight distance between points.
