Designed by EWE Studio, the Magma lighting fixtures were later produced in collaboration with Nouvel Studio. The process begins with molds hand-carved in volcanic stone by local stonemasons, chosen for its ability to withstand the intense heat of glassblowing. Each bubble is hand-blown within these molds, resulting in variations in shape, thickness, and character. The steel structure supporting each bubble is custom-made to fit its unique form. Inside, a hand-hammered metal surface creates reflections, enhancing the organic glow of the pieces.
