PASCAL CHAIR
Inspired by an antique original, our chair evokes the streamlined sophistication of French 1940s design. Elegantly angled for comfort, the low-slung seat rests on a sculptural oak frame, whose dramatically curved arms and legs form bold continuous lines. Rattan-caned insets recall the relaxed gentility of classic colonial furnishings.
Frame: Handcrafted of kiln-dried solid oak with double-doweled construction and mortise-and-tenon joinery
Frame is wire brushed and finished by hand in a multistep process
Seat and back crafted from natural rattan cane in a hexagonal weave pattern
Cushions: Spring down seat cushion features a coiled spring core wrapped in high-resiliency foam, topped with down, feather and polyfiber fill; back cushion is fiber/feather/down blend wrapped around a high-resiliency foam core
