WOVEN INDIAN CHARPOY BENCH
For centuries, woven benches – or charpoys – such as these have provided a seat for contemplation or repose throughout India. Our interpretation is faithful to the original, bearing an intricate geometric pattern woven of sturdy jute directly onto a wood frame, which features mortise-and-tenon joinery, lathe-turned baluster legs and a hand-rubbed finish.
