A set of Seagate Harddrives in five different colours (Part 1).
Based on a real-life object: Seagate External Harddrive 1TB
- Originally made on 3ds Max 19 (2017).
- File compatibility: 3ds Max 16 (2014).
- Scene contains the models only (5 pieces, as shown in the preview images). No hidden or visible additional objects, shapes, lights, HDRI-maps, helpers, space warps or cameras are present.
- Used 13 V-Ray materials and 10 texture files in total, with proper names.
- All texture files are made on Photoshop CC 2019, in PNG-format and with high resolution.
- All slots in the Material Editor are reset.
- All sub-object elements are attached to a single object (for each model), no grouping has been used.
- All geometry is collapsed.
- TurboSmooth modifier has been applied (set at Iteration 2) and left uncollapsed for convenience. Iterations can be changed.
- Wireframe image has been rendered at Iteration 1.
- Pivot point (gizmo) is centered at each object.
- No isolated vertices are present.
- No flipped normals.
- No third-party plugins have been used.
- V-Ray (ver. 3.60.03) renderer has been used for creating materials and rendering images.
- Textures (varied dimensions) and preview images (1000x1000 px) are included in the zip-file.
- Metric system units (centimeters) have been used.
- Model dimensions are approximately based on the original real-life object size.
Length: 11,3 cm
Width: 7,5 cm
Height: 1,2 cm
Polygon Count (for all models):
50 140 (Base, Iteration 0)
401 040 (Iteration 1)
1 604 160 (Iteration 2)
Vertex Count (for all models):
50 160 (Base, Iteration 0)
200 560 (Iteration 1)
802 120 (Iteration 2)
Note 1: Who works with V-Ray version lower than 3.1, pay attention to materials section BRDF (Microfaset GTR (GGX)).
If your version is older than 3.1 - this section will be empty, and you have to choose: Blinn, Ward or Phong, depending on material.
Note 2: For max-files use the "Pick Material from Object" option to get the applied material.
