Restoration Hardware Rug

Antique Khotan rugs are celebrated for their time-faded hues, and Tarim echoes their coveted patina in artfully tinted and hand-knotted yarns. Thick, open knots and exposed warp yarns enhance the effect and obscure the floral Khotan and Oushak motifs in the low, hand-sheared pile.

Our hand-knotted Traditional rugs celebrate the authentic character of antique carpets, reenvisioned from a modern point of view. The sketched motifs are updated on a relaxed, open scale, whether in a polished silk or in a low-pile distressed wool rug. These versatile rugs evoke the patina and textural transitions imparted by generations of use.
