The graceful backrest of the Sybilla dining chair strikes the viewer at first glance.‎ Executed as if in bas-relief with swaying hollows and gentle rises, its sinuous sensuality expresses an entirely up-to-theminute sense of style.‎ The backrest’s surface, simultaneously soft and taut, resonates with the sculptural plasticity of the metal structure, creating a harmonious liaison between the generous drapery of the padding and the spareness of the elegant, agile-seeming legs.‎ Pure concave and convex forms interact to create a cohesive whole, unexpected yet supremely inviting.‎
