Like with most of the products developed by the historic italian furniture company, the wooden coffee
table for riva 1920 by ancona-based designer roberto giacomucci, proposes an icon, with a strong symbolic
value dear to those who work with the essential construction fastener – screws. at first glance,
the ‘brugola’ piece seems to be firmly ‘screwed’ onto the ground, appearing to be distorted and –
as if by magic – oversized to fulfill a new function.
