For the visualization project of the new library building, we chose an expressive approach that vividly conveys the upcoming transformations. This is not just a visualization but a reflection of the atmosphere and architectural concept. The challenge was to harmoniously depict the cozy inner courtyard and the transparent glazed foyer while maintaining a balance with the tranquil reading area.
We used form compositions to evoke moods, allowing the viewer to sense the materiality and interplay of light. Every element contributed to creating a compelling image: refined materiality, scenography, and precise modeling. These details—light and shadow interactions, as well as the integration of the garden—bring the visualization to life and make it truly memorable.
To effectively showcase the connections between the courtyard, the building, the topography, and the pathways, along with their perspectives, views, and spatial interrelations, we carefully selected camera angles and viewpoints. This approach enabled the architectural concept to be fully conveyed in just two visualizations, highlighting the atmospheric density between the interior and exterior spaces. The spacious courtyard and its multifunctional use were particularly emphasized.
We are grateful for another successful project and wish ATELIER 30 Architekten GmbH the best of luck with its realization!
