Description
This is my first complete educational render, created as part of the training program at Hot Walls Studio. The goal was to produce a photorealistic visualization of a modern premium interior, emphasizing natural lighting, material fidelity, and atmospheric depth.
The design blends minimalist aesthetics with warm, natural materials—wooden wall panels, concrete surfaces, soft textiles, and brushed metal. Special attention was paid to light behavior: soft shadows from blinds, subtle highlights on glossy finishes, and physically accurate reflections all contribute to a living, breathing space.
Technical Details
• Software: 3ds Max
• Render Engine: Corona Renderer
• Workflow Highlights:
- Clean, artifact-free geometry with precise scale and topology
- Physically based materials: wood, stone, metal, fabric, glass
- Natural lighting setup using HDRI + supplemental sources for shadow and highlight control
- Global illumination tuned for realistic ambient bounce
- Minimal post-processing in Corona Image Editor (contrast & color balance only)
Key Achievements
✅ Precision modeling – Every object built with correct proportions and clean topology
✅ Realistic materials – Textures account for micro-surface details and physical properties
✅ Natural daylighting – Window and artificial light accurately convey time of day and mood
✅ Physically accurate reflections – Glossy surfaces (countertops, fixtures, furniture) respond realistically to light
✅ Atmosphere & emotion – Light and shadow work together to evoke warmth, luxury, and calm
