Nissan Technical Center Europe – Russia (NTCE-R) is looking for CAD Engineer to join the team in St. Petersburg. NTCE-R is responsible for design of Nissan vehicles produced in Russia. The engineers are working on localization, cost-reduction and design development of Nissan models in Russia.
As CAD specialist you will provide support to Design Engineers during all phases of development (from digital to after start of production). You will have an opportunity to work across many of the vehicle systems including but not limited to Body, Interior/Exterior and Chassis.
Your tasks will include:
generation of 3D concepts and 3D modelling of components in all domains using NX CAD
generation of 2D drawings using NX CAD
generation and maintenance of BOM data (application and shape release)
delivering of Nissan-specific CAD training and support to Design Engineers
presentation of design concepts to design engineering and management as requiredin
vehicle position packaging
conduct initial concept studies
development of 3D data suitable for in-house and supplier tooling
support design engineers to release parts through Nissan’s unique systems
We expect you to have:
Completed Higher Mechanical Engineering Education
Experience in 3D CAD design (knowledge of Siemens NX software is considered to be an advantage)
Excellent oral and written communication skills (to be able to work with many functions and cultures including delivery of trainings for design engineers)
Good Microsoft office skills
Basic knowledge of tooling and manufacturing processes
Fluent English
Automotive experience will be an advantage
As part of the role you will be expected to travel to UK office for training.
