The competition called for an innovative design concept for the central transfer station Ehinger Tor, which is used by over 15,000 people daily. The goal was to enhance the quality of stay and accessibility while integrating the station infrastructure harmoniously into the urban space. The visualizations illustrate how the area around the historic Ehinger Tor can be redesigned – an important step towards upgrading Ulm’s public transport system and creating an inviting urban space.
